2010 New Year’s Day Swim at Two Mile Gate
The traditional Christmas Day Swim was postponed to New Year's Day because of adverse weather and ground conditions. Nevertheless, a large crowd of swimmers braved the icy waters on 1st January 2010 to raise funds for Ballina Killaloe RFC. Ballina Killaloe RFC U11s at Thomond Park
Ballina Killaloe RFC U11s side were invited to play a match at half time against Thurles in Munster's St Stephen's Day Magners League derby game against Connacht at Thomond Park.
Child Welfare
Young people are the lifeblood of any sport and Irish Rugby is no different to other sports in this regard. It is important that young people are welcomed into our clubs and schools so that they can enjoy the great game of rugby. It goes without saying that parents are entitled to know that their children are involved and playing rugby in an environment that respects young peoples’ saftey, health, welfare and dignity.
